I can’t believe this ends in 3 days. This has been the most blissful week of my life. I can’t lose this now that I’ve got it, this isn’t fair.

Is this all my fault?

Even if Kellen had feelings for me like that it’s a bad idea. What if we break up? What if it messes with the band? I don’t want to risk both of the things that make me happiest. Everything was perfect the way it was. We don’t need to change things and fuck it all up.

But to lose this…

I’ll just have to pretend it doesn’t hurt until it stops. Fake it ‘til you make it, right?

I was right to make the deal. Everything will go back to normal and I’ll see that over time.

“Is your food okay?”

“Huh?” I’m pulled from my spiral and look down at my plate. “It’s fine.”

“What are you thinking about so hard?”

Damn him for knowing me. Time to find the little bit of confidence I have that isn’t designated to my career and switch gears. He cannot know about my stupid worries. I’d rather not rock the boat. Kellen would do anything for me, he’d probably pretend to have feelings for me just so I could be happy.

“Well, there was something I wanted to try.”
